Surgical treatment of HER2 (3+) breast cancer is now part of a perioperative chemotherapy strategy. It allows an increase in breast conservation and sometimes even in the recurrence-free survival of patients in the event of complete histological non-response (pCR). Nevertheless, this benefit is poorly evaluated for tumors less than 2 cm, without lymph node involvement and surgical abstention in the event of (pCR) is not yet possible in current practice, due to the performance limits of imaging and resections by macro biopsies.
