Hassan GHAZAL

Hassan Ghazal is a board-certified consultant medical oncologist and consultant clinical
hematologist currently practicing at King’s College Hospital in Dubai, UAE.
Dr. Ghazal holds over three decades of clinical experience. He began his medical training at the
American University of Beirut before relocating to the United States for his residency in internal
medicine at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Following his residency, Dr. Ghazal pursued a
fellowship in medical oncology at the George Washington University Medical Center (1992-
1995), culminating in a senior fellowship in bone marrow transplantation (1995-1997).
Throughout his career, Dr. Ghazal has held prestigious positions within the US healthcare
system, including Director of the Kentucky Cancer Clinic and Staff Hematologist/Oncologist at
Hazard Appalachian Regional Medical Center.
Dr. Ghazal’s commitment to excellence is reflected in his numerous US board certifications:
Internal Medicine (1992), Medical Oncology (1995), and Hematology (1996). He is an active
member of several esteemed clinical societies, including the European Society of Medical
Oncology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Hematology, and
the American College of Physicians.
Dr. Ghazal has a prolific record of publications and abstracts in peer-reviewed journals and has
been recognized with numerous awards and accolades internationally. His dedication to
research is evident in his role as principal investigator for nearly 100 clinical trials across the US,
enrolling hundreds of patients over 25 years.
